Registration is now closed for 2020-2021

2020-2021 Tryout Information

Tryouts (Grades 3-8)

  • Parents need to come into the building to check-in players. Tryouts are closed to spectators, and parents will need to leave the building during tryouts per district guidelines.
  • Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your posted tryout time. If you need a new uniform, please allow 10 additional minutes. 
  • Players must be registered ahead of time. You will not be able to register your player on site.
  • Each player will receive a tryout pinnie and an assigned number to use during tryouts only. Players will need to wear the pinnie for the Sunday tryout as well and then will turn it back in on Sunday.
  • Masks must be worn when entering the building. Players must wear masks while walking to and from tryouts. Please follow all Covid-19 guidelines, including social distancing.

Players are expected to attend both dates for tryouts, but must attend at least one. A player cannot be placed on an A team if they are not at tryouts. If missing both tryout dates is unavoidable, such as an injury, the president must be contacted to discuss appropriate placement prior to tryouts.



CRCBC is preparing for a full basketball season, but this could change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization will be collecting only $1 at the time of registration to make registering now risk-free. If the season is canceled before tryouts, all payments will be canceled. Your first payment for the season will be on September 25th, and you will be able to choose from three different payment plans, outlined in the registration. If at any time the season is canceled due to COVID-19, you will receive a refund that will reflect how much of the season has been played. For more on the refund policy, click here.

CRCBC will be taking the necessary steps to ensure safety and health for our players, coaches, and spectators by using the Minnesota Department of Health guidelines. 


Family Discount

There will be a $50.00 reduction in the registration fee of a subsequent player/child if you have more than one player registered in the program and living in the same household.  To get this discount, you MUST register for your subsequent player in the same registration session.

Scholarship Policy

If you request financial assistance, you must submit proof of free or reduced lunch eligibility prior to registration via email to  When this letter has been received, you will receive a coupon code that you enter during registration that reduces your fees by half.  

*Your family can qualify for both the family discount and the scholarship.


All CRCBC players receive a Nike uniform and shooting shirt as a part of their registration one time during the two-year uniform cycle. 2020-2021 will be Year 2 for the cycle, so only players new to CRCBC traveling basketball will receive a new uniform this year.

If a returning player needs to replace any part of the uniform, they will need to pay for each piece.  Jersey: $40, Shorts: $18, Shooting Shirt: $40

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, players will not be able to try on uniforms. Instead, uniforms will be available to view. Opportunities to view uniforms:

Tryouts on September 26th and 27th:

  • Players can view uniforms before their tryout time. Please arrive early to tryouts so you can get checked in, view uniforms, and get a tryout pinney!
